Start-ups are crucial for innovation. Yet there is still a lot of risk transforming these startups into a scaleup. Only 16 percent of all startups succeeds in finding a repeatable and scalable businessmodel. Therefore, in this report Gritd shares insights in how Dutch start-ups grow and what the impact of start-up support and funding is on the growth of a startup.

Broad experience of start-up support, business development and product development. 10 years of entrepreneurial experience and 6 years of board experience at VNO-NCW. Within Gritd active as trainer and responsible for operations and product.
CTO – StartupFramework
Provides data-driven insights to support start-ups with programs and resources to improve access to funding, market and talent. Koen has previously worked on various projects in strategic, technical and scientific roles in various commercial and public environments. Connecting data and models is the common denominator. With a PhD in astrophysics, Koen started researching the growth of exoplanets. He then fulfilled roles as a software developer and as a new business developer at ASML. Finally, Koen worked as research director at Techleap. As head of the data team, his team gathered insights into the bottlenecks and opportunities of startups in the startup ecosystem.
Product Developer
Rincke is working on her bachelor Commercial Economics – Digital Business Concepts at the Fontys Hogeschool. She is working on her graduation and helps the Gritd team with design and development work.
